From The Music and Tech Corner...

Beloved pilgrims,
Oh, the delight of beginning to regather on Sunday mornings.... to embrace the space of our building .... the worship of our Triune God .... hearts overflowing with gratitude and continued prayers for mercy and help. Together Again. Praise be to Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
As we approach Memorial Day weekend, which includes the highlight of "Holy Trinity" Sunday, may I share 2 very different musical selections to bless your heart.
The first is the Mormon Tabernacle choir singing "Because of the Brave" (4 minutes), which gave me goosebumps and tears. Watch if you dare....
The second is a guitar -led video, largely shot in the nation of India. This unique rendition of Holy (Sanctus - set to an original tune by Jessamyn Rains) reminds us that God is worshipped around our globe in unique ways, and to continue lifting this nation, and all nations, to His Almighty Hands for healing and help.
May our Triune God bless you in rich and deep ways in this week upcoming....

Thank you gardeners!
Did you know there are more than 250 types of irises? These hearty plants with showy flowers take their name from the Greek word for a rainbow, which is also the name for the Greek goddess of the rainbow, Iris.

Thanks to many volunteers, the Summer Fair will be Saturday, July 17th 9:30 to 1:00pm. We still are waiting for tent permits but are moving forward with our plans. We have decided to drop the Linen Booth this year. If it is missed by many, we will think about adding it back next year. The co-chairs are the Vestry Members. Item donations to the fair can be left in the Church Hall between June 17th and July 13th. A storage unit will be delivered again this year. It will be used for storage of sorted items. We will be accepting our standard donations for housewares, gardening and plants, books, crafts, fabrics & sewing items, jewelry, toys, collectibles, and silent auction. We are not accepting the following items: linens, electronic equipment (examples: computers, tvs, radios) adult sporting goods, exercise equipment and furniture. All items donated must be in working condition.
The plan is to write a more detailed article in the paper as soon as the Event Permit is granted.
Everyone is looking forward to this community event.

Needed – Volunteers for Lord & Tailor Bin Duty
The Lord & Tailor Thrift Shop is looking for a few good healthy men to help move clothes from the Bin Box outside of Lord & Tailor to the shop on the second floor. And then to move excess clothing to the storage shed behind All Saints Church.
The volunteer position does not require that one have Olympic strength, but one should be healthy enough to lift large bags of clothing.
We are also in need of people who have pick-up trucks that can transport excess bags of clothing to Goodwill in Concord and/or Somersworth.
If you are interested in helping out, please contact Paul Vivian at (703) 798-8978 or paulhv@aol.com.

New Bible Study on Genesis
|
Join us Thursday afternoons at 3:00 pm on Zoom for Bible Study. Starting Thursday, April 8th, we will begin a close reading and discussion of Genesis. The book of Genesis traces our origins from cosmic beginnings through stories preserved from pre-history. Each story provides us with a glimpse of God's intentions, how God acts, and who we are in relationship to God and the rest of creation.
