Hello, One 10 Youth!

We hope that you all have had a great week so far. We had a blast at at Superbowl party this past Sunday! Please read below for updates.

We had our annual Warren Willis Informational meeting in January. If you missed it and have questions, please contact Angie (angie@mumc.net) or Paula (pcokerjones@mumc.net). Last summer's attendees should have received an email with information about the changes made to the camps' prices. Sign up for camp ASAP to secure your spot. If you are applying for a camp scholarship, applications are due to Angie or Paula by May 1st.

You will sign up for camp through the Warren Willis website.

Youth this week –

Ski Trip - February 18-21

NO YOUTH on Sunday!
Safety Precautions

Masks are required on Wednesdays and Sunday nights for ALL indoor youth activities. Please come into the building wearing a mask. We look forward to a time when we can change this policy, however, right now we ask for ALL youth to follow this safety precaution. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to look for ways to keep everyone safe.

We have adjusted our times for youth time on Wednesday and Sunday nights by 30 minutes. Wednesday nights will begin at 5:30 PM with Youth Choir or open gym. Programming will run from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Sunday nights will begin at 5:00 PM with open gym. Programing will run from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. Our new times started on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

Wednesdays

Please join us this Wednesday as we continue small group discussions! We begin at 5:30 and end at 8!
Ski Trip

Our annual Highschool ski trip is this weekend, February 18-21. We are leaving at 1:00 PM on Friday and hope to return by 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sign up has now closed. Please make sure that you have filled out the necessary paperwork. Please pray for safe travels for our group.
Sunday Night Youth Group

There will be NO youth this Sunday due to the ski trip! We will join together again on Wednesday.
Youth Sweatshirts

We ordered extra Youth sweatshirts for those not attending the ski trip. Youth can purchase those sweatshirts, until supplies run out, for 25.00 each. Please let Paula or Faith know if you are interested in purchasing one.
Youth Sunday - 2/27

Mark your calendars now! We have Youth Sunday scheduled for February 27 at Longleaf. We look forward to a day of sharing all that God has been doing in the life of our youth.

Youth band will be sharing these songs with you: Relentless, Overcome, Gracious Tempest and Glorious Day.

After the service the youth will have breakfast together @ Maple Street. Please plan to join us.

Youth Council

Next meeting will be March 9th @ 6:30 p.m.
Youth Dinners

Youth are asked to either bring $5.00 each Sunday night or $60.00 for the semester. The semester dues amount is a cost savings for our families but allows us to plan meals according to our budget. Thank you for your help in planning accordingly.

Thank you to Renee Vrtikapa who continues to lead this for us. We are always looking for individuals to help serve, set up and clean up dinner.

Volunteers Needed!

We are in need of a few volunteers to help with Youth Sunday school on the Mandarin & Longleaf campuses as well as with Sunday Night dinners. Please let Paula know if you are able to help once a month.
Passion Camp - July 11th-15th

We are excited to be headed to Passion Camp this summer in Daytona Beach!

Passion Camp is centered around the glory of Jesus. Middle and high school students gathered together for four days of worship, teaching and community. Not to mention, four fun days on the shores of Daytona Beach!

Youth will need money for dinner of Monday and Lunch on Friday and spending money during the week. A deposit of 50.00 is due by 2/27 to hold your spot.
