The biosecurity.gov.au website was developed to provide access to information and resources to raise awareness of biosecurity risks, and to make it easier to take action and report threats.

Producers are invited to a free morning workshop on olive cultivars, their features, implications and research issues, being presented by Professor Stan Kailis. The workshop is part of project by the Australian Olive Association (AOA), Olives WA (WA Olive Council) and AusMedOlive to develop passport information on olive cultivars commonly grown in Australia and Western Australia with respect to their quality and safety.
The first workshop session is being held today at Cowaramup, with a second on Friday, 8 April at Mt Barker - host Olivers at Mary Downs Farm, Forest Hill.
