ForeverMore, by Pam Buda, will be a Summer Block of the Month. Marti has finished the center of the quilt, and some additional blocks, and they're hanging at the front of the store. There have been some delays, so it looks like June may be the starting point. If you're on the fence, time is running out!

We're hoping to begin Emma, from Windham Fabrics, in the Summer of 2022 (Still waiting for the fabric to arrive!). It's a 12-month program, made with gorgeous blue and aqua batiks. It will be $26.50/month, plus shipping if we need to mail it.
NEW: The shop sample is complete and hanging near the front door - stop in and see this fabulous quilt! Just the other day someone commented that the photo doesn't do the quilt justice - you have to see it!

Monday - Saturday: 10-5
Sunday: closed
Since we don't see much business late in the day, Judy has made the decision to keep the Winter Hours schedule permanently. We know that several of you can't make it before 5, but you do have an option:
If you can't get to the shop by closing, you can call us during that day and let us know you'll be stopping in just after 5. We will stay open until 5:30 so you have some time to shop.
If you have questions, please give us a call or email us at staff@yankeepridequilts.com.
Thank you!

Check out where we began...
|
Did you know Yankee Pride spent its first 21 years in the Champlain Mill in Winooski? We were a part of the Mill to Mall experience. There's a special exhibit going on at the Mill right now, commemorating its original revitalization. Judy spoke with the organizers (but chose not to appear on camera, of course!) about our experience and the early days of retail there. This exhibit is ongoing through July 29, 2022 - if you're in the Winooski area, make sure you check it out!

Our Spring 2022 classes have concluded, but we are definitely making plans for our Fall 2022 lineup. Ruth is the first to put all of her info together. Click on the links for more information or to sign up online:
(These are the same class, just meeting at different times.)

To The Sea
from Janet Clare
by Moda

Janet's new line is all things nautical! There are boats (bottom left in photo), plenty of shells (center in photo - both prints), and marine life, too (top left in photo)! Make a fun beach quilt, or something to hang at your lake cottage.

Say It With a Stitch
by Henry Glass
|
Sometimes it's fun to make accessories - little things for your friends, or even for yourself. Use these two prints, and whatever you make will have you smiling. Sewing notions (bottom in photo) and infinite buttons (top in photo) are whimsical and fun. How about pincushions? Or little storage boxes? These are perfect for both!
|
|
Oh, what a fun group! Bright colors and fun motifs are perfect for kids' quilts. Several of the prints are 'x's in happy colors. Even the two black prints are cheerful. Add a few tone-on-tone prints and plan your next floor quilt for baby!

|
Stars are super-popular as background in several quilt genres. These five prints are all tiny stars! One is patriotic colors, one is Halloween, another is Christmas (with a touch of bling) and the final two (top in photo) can be used everywhere. You'll definitely want to add some of these to your stash.
|
|
This week's shipment of batiks is full of rich colors! There's wood grain (bottom right in photo), leaves in the ever-popular blues and purples (bottom left in photo), and three different bolts of large blooms. Any of them will tuck right into your stash.

Yukata
from Debbie Maddy
by Moda
|
Debbie took a trip to Japan and was inspired by the yukatas and kimonos she saw there. The fabrics in this line are the result of her trip. The florals are quite elegant, and the coordinates have a very distinct look to them. We love the combination of blues and browns - don't you?

Once Upon a Time
by Henry Glass
|
Hearts and rainbows are always a hit - customers come in almost every day asking for one or the other. Here we have both, and colorful stars, too! Make a happy nap quilt or a cheerful bed quilt for someone you love, with these three prints and a few coordinates. You'll be as happy sewing it as you will gifting it to your loved one.

Stitched
from Fig Tree and Co.
by Moda
|
Many of you know Kathy, our resident hand embroidery specialist. This line is right up her alley, with its soft reds, pretty florals, and sweet little prints. We think she might be picking up a few of these in the coming weeks. Do you share her love for springy fabrics? Make sure you get some of these, too!
