A reminder that this Sunday, March 13, at 12:15 p.m.--immediately following the worship service in the sanctuary--NDBC member and art historian Jordan Clark will give a tour of our church's richly colored faceted windows.

The event is one of the many offered free through Phoenix Flies, sponsored annually by the Atlanta Preservation Center to showcase Atlanta’s historic neighborhoods, buildings, and points of interest

Plan to attend by making a reservation  via EventBrite on this page and join other Atlantans who will be present to learn about the “stories” told through our church’s beautiful stained glass windows.
The 2022 NDBC Nominating Committee asks members to consider now how they can share their time and talents in the ongoing committees and ministries at our church. Use the link below to join a Ministry Team and provide your nominations for Church Moderator and members to serve on the Diaconate, Personnel, and Finance Committees. Please prayerfully consider whom to nominate and how you personally can best serve our congregational family.

Sign-up form for 2022 nominations and to volunteer for ministry teams:
The prayers and sympathy of the congregation are extended to these members of the NDBC family:

Mary Lou Swann, NDBC Director of Children's Choirs, whose mother, Catherine Foster Swann, died on March 4 in Kinston, N.C. For more information, please read Mrs. Swann's obituary.

Terrell Kilgore, whose uncle, Henry Kilgore, died on March 7. Information on arrangements can be found here.

Susan Richards, whose brother, Jimmy Richards, died on March 8 in Virginia Beach, Va. Arrangements and obituary are not yet available.
Due to complications in scheduling, the Adult Education Ministry Team has canceled the previously announced Lenten series of lectures by Dr. Nancy deClaissé-Walford. We hope to have her present at NDBC later this year.

All NDBC adults are invited instead to join Art & Soul this Sunday, March 13. From now through Easter, the class will study each week's lectionary passages. You can prepare for the class by reading the study guide.

Hartwell Dew will facilitate our class this Sunday. Whether or not you have time to prepare beforehand, we hope you will join what is always a lively discussion.

Join us at 9 a.m. via Zoom.
Join worship at NDBC this Sunday in person (please register) or online. Rev. Dr. Karen Massey will be worship leader and guest preacher Rev. Matt DuVall will bring the sermon, "The Temptation to Stay Safe." Allison Drinkard and Shanta Johnson will present a duet of "Pie Jesu" from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Requiem.
Daylight Savings Time begins this Sunday, March 13, at 2 a.m. Remember to set your clocks forward one hour before retiring on Saturday evening, so you can join NDBC worship or activities on time!
