The past several months have played witness to unprecedented growth in the staff of Haven Harbour's customer experience and yacht services teams. A pure product of demand, our most recent drive for hiring is one of many signs which point to the boating industry's strength and heightening popularity.
Among the newcomers are two additions to the marine store team who will be helping out between our Haven Harbour Marina and Haven Harbour South locations.
Mallory Brilz, born and raised here in Rock Hall, has had an inquisitive five-week start; learning all there is to know about our customers and marinas. Her three years of marine experience has been a welcomed bonus to our customer service efforts.
No stranger to boats nor Haven Harbour, Victoria Sunkler has transitioned from being a four-year server at Haven Harbour Marina's Passages Bar & Grill to head up a career in customer service.
"I'm excited to have Mallory and Victoria join us," said Marine Store Manager Crystal Beck. "With Mallory's parts background and Victoria's familiarity with our operation, I think they'll prove to be great additions to our store staff."
Our in-house yacht services department has also seen growth over recent weeks.
"This is an exciting time for our marinas and service departments," mentioned Greta Sommers, director of service operations. "We've been fortunate to add several new faces to the team, and our seasoned technicians have been an integral part of assisting the newcomers with learning the Haven Harbour way."
Hunter Johnson, an experienced lift operator and technician of 18 years, has joined Graeme Pratt, a general boatyard laborer, to assist in meeting increased service and repair demand at Haven Harbour South.
"Our staff is growing, and that's a good thing," said Ed Cecil, service manager at Haven Harbour South. "We aim to continue offering our customers here a first-class service experience, and new members to the team help us achieve that."
