Get Up, Get Out for Spokane River Cleanup Maiden Voyage a Success
Masked up and ready to roll, the Spokane River Forum and Spokane Riverkeeper were thrilled when 71 volunteers turned out and picked up 1,050 lbs of trash up and downstream of Mission Street Bridge. Said Spokane Riverkeeper Jule Schultz, "these guys rocked."

What's a Cleanup Without Cleanup Bags?
Big thanks to American Canoe Association, Avista, and the Redband Campaign for funding purchase of 5,000 heavy duty trash bags to support Spokane River cleanup. These bags support cleanup efforts of the Forum, Spokane Riverkeeper, Lands Council and others.

"2017 was the last time bags were ordered and we were down to just a couple of hundred," said Forum Director Andy Dunau. "We can't make these cleanups happen without sponsors getting volunteers bags and other materials for a successful outing."

So THANK YOU to our sponsors!
