$6M now available to support Economic Mobility and Mental Health initiatives!

April 23, 2024

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Providing opportunities for greater economic mobility and better access to community-based behavioral health services are key to breaking down generational health inequities in communities we serve.

We are pleased to announce that $6M in Community Health Impact Funds--$3M for economic mobility/financial stability and $3M for mental/behavioral health—is now available to support innovative, upstream approaches to tackling these two major drivers of health.

Letters of Intent (LOIs) are now being accepted through Friday, May 17th, 2024, for organizations working on these community-driven priorities, including community-based organizations, non-profits, municipalities, and others, to make a measurable impact in their communities. More information about the specific priorities, strategies, and available funding can be found below, on the MGH website, and on the SMApply application website.

Please note that Mass General Brigham affiliated community, clinical, or research departments are NOT eligible for this funding.

Please share this opportunity with your networks and join us along our transformative journey to improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve!

Best,

Elsie M. Taveras, MD, MPH
