COVID-19 Vaccine Update

The State of New Hampshire is using a
3-Phase rollout for the COVID-19 vaccine.

We are currently in Phase 2b
Who is eligible to get the vaccine right now?

New Hampshire residents in categories Phase 1a, 1b, 2a and 2b can register for their vaccinations now.

Phase 2a

Phase 2b
As of March 22nd, NH residents age 50 and older can register. Appointments will start as of March 25th.

Phase 1a and 1b
New Hampshire residents who meet the Phase 1a and Phase 1b criteria can continue to register for vaccinations. Those include:

1) Those 65 years and older

2) Those under 65 and have 2 or more underlying medical conditions listed below (adapted from the CDC)
  • Cancer
  • Chronic Kidney Disease
  • COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and other high-risk pulmonary disease
  • Down Syndrome
  • Heart Conditions, such as heart failure or coronary artery disease
  • Immunocompromised states
  • Obesity (body mass index of 30 kg/m or higher)
  • Pregnancy
  • Sickle cell disease
  • Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

NH is Hosting the 2nd Mass Vaccination Event
  • Gov. Chris Sununu announced Tuesday that a second mass vaccination drive will be held at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon this weekend.
  • The mass vaccination event will be held on Saturday, March 27th, and Sunday, March 28th
  • The site will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both days. 
  • Appointments are available for eligible residents to schedule on the state's new Vaccine (VINI) website.
  • All appointments must be scheduled. There are not walk-in appointments.
  • At this time, the Pfizer vaccine will be the only vaccine offered to those with Speedway appointments this weekend.

No Internet? Need Additional Support?
Those without access to the internet, can call 2-1-1. COVID-19 support staff are available 6am-10pm, 7 days a week. Other services available through this line include:
  • Support scheduling an appointment
  • Language Assistance
  • Special Accommodations
  • Help resolving error messages

Can I "move-up" an appointment I've already scheduled?
Maybe. If you already have a COVID-19 vaccine appointment scheduled and would like to be added to a waitlist for an earlier appointment, please read the section: "Community Vaccine Waitlist," located at the bottom of our Vaccine Resource page.

The tentative schedule for the State's remaining Phases is:
  • Phase 3A (May and beyond): those under the age of 50 who have moderate risk factors related to COVID-19.
  • Phase 3B (May and beyond): everyone who has not already been vaccinated.

Here in the Monadnock region, the closest vaccination site is located at Keene State College, at 110 Krif Road, Keene.
