Lutheran World Relief Personal Care Kits
Our annual personal care kit project for Lutheran World Relief reminds us of our many blessings and a way that we can be a blessing to others. Currently, one of our members has agreed to match the first $3,000 donated by the congregation. Due to the rising costs of supplies for these kits, we need to not only match this generous offer but exceed it. Please make your check payable to SAKLC and enter LWR in the memo section then place it in the Sunday offering or bring it to the church office. You can also help by donating bath size bars of soap combs, or toothbrushes. There is a large basket in the Narthex for your donations.
Our goal once again is to assemble 1,000 Personal Care Kits (PCK's). This year, we will be assembling and packing the care kits on Friday, February 3rd, starting at 10:00am, in Fellowship Hall. If you would like to help, please sign up on the sheet in the Narthex or click the button below.

SAKLC Salvation Army Ringers
Appreciation Luncheon
SAKLC Salvation Army Ringers,
Thank you all for taking the time to volunteer for the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Drive. I have no idea how much we collected but I do know I had a team of great ringers. Our dog, Penny, can't wait for next year. I did receive an invitation from the SVA to attend their appreciation luncheon on Thursday, January 26th from 12-1pm. Anyone who would like to attend will need to register. You can RSVP by calling 941-552-5175 or letting me know you would like to be included and I will call in for you. Please take care of this by January 20th. If you are contacting me, please do this by the 18th so I can get our reservation in before the 20th. The sooner the better! The doors open for the luncheon on the 26th at 11:30am. The place fills up quickly so come at 11:30am if you want to sit together as a group. Great food and program. Quick and efficient. Thanks again for your kind volunteering at a very busy time of the year. Happy New Year.

Pastor Ken's Weekly Bible Study
Each week, throughout the year, Pr. Ken leads a Bible study on Wednesday mornings, from 11:00am-noon via zoom. The class discusses the Scripture texts assigned for the forthcoming Sunday worship services. Pr. Ken shares a calendar month of handouts in advance, so that participants can look ahead, and read the comments of Lutheran scholars prior to each session. Each week there is a good mix of lay people, and retired pastors, with each group brining their unique perspectives on life and Scripture – it’s a fun group! Support SAKLC When Shopping Amazon
Do you shop on Amazon? If so, supporting SAKLC has never been easier. When you go to shop online, go to www.smile.amazon.com. Login using your same Amazon email and password. You will be asked to select a charity - just type in "St. Armands Key Lutheran Church Foundation". Amazon will donate a portion of all orders purchased through AmazonSmile back to SAKLC. These are the exact same products, and exact same prices. Just remember to always shop using www.SMILE.Amazon.com (if you shop just using Amazon.com, the order will not qualify). If you have any questions, or if you need help setting this up, please reach out to Michael.
