Grant Opportunities for Parenting and Family Strengthening Providers *

Funding will soon be available for a new 5-year funding cycle. Do you provide high-quality group, individual, or home visiting parenting programming? The Children’s Trust will be looking for applicants for a new 5-year funding cycle that will start in October.


The Parenting and Family Strengthening request for proposals (RFP) is scheduled to be released in February. For more information click below:

The Trust Sponsoring Paid Registrations to Child & Adolescent Mental Health Conference

The Children’s Trust is once again sponsoring registrations to the 2023 Miami International Child & Adolescent Mental Health (MICAMH) Conference, taking place Feb. 8-10, at the FIU Kovens Conference Center. Hosted by the FIU Center for Children and Families and presented by The Children’s Trust, the MICAMH Conference is the leading interdisciplinary conference that brings together more than 500 professionals to present state-of-the-art, evidence-based prevention and treatment interventions.


If you are interested in attending, please fill out the inquiry form below to be considered. This is not a registration form. All inquiries will be reviewed by The Children's Trust for final approval. Space for the conference is limited. The Children's Trust slots are on a first come first served basis and the number of slots may be limited per program.

Catalyst Miami Recruiting for CLEAR and LIGHT Leadership Trainings *

CLEAR Miami

CLEAR (Community Leadership on the Environment, Advocacy, and Resilience) is a free 10-week program that provides participants with the groundwork to become climate justice educators, leaders, and innovators in their own communities and beyond. Participants will develop a deep and intersectional understanding of climate science, local climate change threats, and solutions. The programs will be held virtually through Zoom and stipends will be given to participants who complete and graduate from the programs.

LIGHT MIAMI

LIGHT (Leaders in Grassroots Health Transformation) will be a free 9-week leadership training course around health justice advocacy, the United States healthcare system and its alternatives, as well as public speaking and self-advocacy skills. The programs will be held virtually through Zoom and stipends will be given to participants who complete and graduate from the programs.

Schedule a Free Mental Health Presentation for Families *

Teach parents/caregivers about mental wellness with a FREE program "Ending the Silence" (ETS) presented by the National Alliance on Mental Illness Miami-Dade County. ETS is a 60-minute or longer virtual/in-person presentation that increases knowledge about warning signs of mental health issues, diminishes stigma, encourages families to seek help, and provides local and national resources. It is presented in English and Spanish.

The Town of Cutler Bay established the Community Fund to improve the quality of life of the town’s residents through various ways and create supportive partnerships with local nonprofit organizations that help, support, and serve our community. Spotlight Miami Grants Due January 31

Spotlight Miami is a women’s giving circle where members contribute $1k or more annually with 100% of annual membership dues gifted to charities through a grant application process. Spotlight grants are for a one-year granting cycle. Previous year’s grantees can apply every three years. Grant awards up to $20k. Application and instructions can be accessed through the link below. Available Positions at The Children's Trust

Community Engagement Manager - ($55,968 Annual) 

The Community Engagement Manager is responsible for performing a variety of community-driven duties with an emphasis on maintaining contact with community groups, parents, and other caregivers, providing support to residents on children’s needs, as well as evaluating and responding to community needs concerning children. The incumbent exercises independence of action and will possess considerable knowledge of community activities and needs for children and families and use considerable professional judgment in the performance of community engagement work. 



Research & Evaluation Analyst - ($55,968 Annual)

The Research and Evaluation Analyst is a critical member of both cross- and inter-departmental teams at The Children’s Trust who engages in proactive problem-solving and critical thinking/analysis related to the design and effectiveness of various child, youth and family services. Primary responsibilities include: contributing to effective program and systems designs for The Children’s Trust’s priority investments in child, youth and family services; designing and maintaining sound data collection tools and systems to capture meaningful program, operational and community data in a user-friendly, accessible manner; and analyzing and making meaning from available data to tell our stories using compelling visualizations and reports, with an intentional focus on the specific audience and purpose of the message.


Solutions Specialist - ($55,968 Annual)

The Solutions Specialist executes on solutions design in response to business priorities and vetted requirements. This position conducts unit testing and validates use cases to ensure solution aligns with requirements. This position maintains and implements routine solutions under the guidance of senior Technology Design and Solutions team members.

Citizen Review Panel Program (CRP) Review Specialist *

Florida Foster Care Review is looking for a Review Specialist (RS) who is responsible for the preparation and facilitation of Citizen Review Panel Program (CRP) review hearings for children & young adults in foster care. The RS collects child-specific info and produces the CRP’s final report. The RS supports volunteers and participates in their training & evaluation, and may participate in court hearings & child welfare meetings/events.
