Happy February Ogden Families!

It seems like January flew by, especially with all of the PTC activities – a huge thank you to Emilee Cafarelli and Jenna Tassoni for organizing a fun-filled evening at Ogden for Boys’ Night Out and to Andrea Alm, Lauren Williams and Mia Trich for organizing the Adult Workout, which got Ogden parents moving.

This month, we look forward to Boosterthon, an intellectually stimulating adult evening at Odgen Trivia, as well as other PTC activities. Don't forget to save the date for our Variety Show on February 10. Sign up to donate snacks for intermission HERE.

This year, the OPEN Committee is selecting five books per month from notable book awards to donate to our school’s Library Resource Center (LRC) in collaboration with our school librarians. Below are February's selections, which you can also read about by clicking here.

Curriculum Enhancement Committee

The PTC’s newly formed Curriculum Enhancement Committee (“CEC”) is looking for 4 volunteers to serve on the committee for 2024-2025.

The goal of the CEC is to provide resources and support to the Ogden administration and teachers by assisting in the planning and implementation of activities complementary to the D102 curriculum. Based on input from teachers and administration, the CEC will research and gather information on supplemental educational opportunities including cost, activity details, dates available, and similar data. For approved activities, the CEC would work with Ogden teachers and staff to assist in any further planning and implementation as requested.

If you are interested in serving on this committee or would like to learn more, please reach out to Rachel Arndt or Sarah Barus.
