Clinic Chronicle Monthly Newsletter

∙ January 2024 ∙

It is hard to believe we are closing the first month of the new year in just a few days! As we navigate the cold and start to see days stretch a little longer, I think of how we can elevate health. The health of ourselves, our neighbors, and our community. As we so often address our resolutions starting this January, I encourage you to reflect on how we care for one another's health, and how we can make health happen in 2024.

What does health mean to you? What are you doing this year to care for yourself?

Let us know by tagging #GNHCThrivingTogether on social media so we can share your ideas in our next newsletter!

January Staff Spotlight

Tricia, RN

Tricia has been an incredible addition to the Good Neighbor Health Clinic Team. Through her role, she advocates for patients to assist with prescription costs, health screening services, and additional needs, all while providing clinical care. Outside of her time in the clinic, she can often be found crafting.

"Tricia made me comfortable. I'm terrified of shots, but this one was painless!"

Thank you, Tricia, for your work in the clinic and for supporting our patients!

January Volunteer Spotlight

Fares & Sarah

Dartmouth Student Leads

Beginning in 2023, Fares and Sarah joined Good Neighbor Health Clinic as student liaisons with Geisel Medical School. In their roles, Fares and Sarah work to keep current medical students connected to clinics and creating systems to continue shaping additional minds in medicine. While they are ending their time as liaisons this month, we are grateful for the time they gave to Good Neighbor Health Clinic.

We wish you the best as you continue through your careers in medicine!

The Community Corner, located right outside the Red Logan Dental Clinic, continues to provide much-needed items to patients in need. This winter, Bugbee Senior Center has donated several handmade knitted hats, scarves, gloves, and neck warmers.

Thank you so much for providing these cold-weather items to our patients in need!
