Drink Pink: Art & Rosé Experience – May 4

Join us for a special fundraiser for Hope Chest for Breast Cancer and the Edina Community Foundation. The interactive rosé wine and art event will feature four wines created by women winemakers, paired with four women artists for an afternoon of fun.

Contribute to the interactive community art project where each piece represents a loved one lost or celebrates a survivor.

Happy Hour for Seniors – May 15

We are hosting our first event just for singles aged 60 and over.

Mingle with other seniors, get tips from matchmaker April Davis of Luma Matchmaking, and enjoy snacks and a cash bar.

Each spring we recognize a group of adults and students who have served, uplifted, or empowered the youth in our community or in communities in need.

Our 2024 slate of honorees includes a middle school educator and an Edina Basketball board member (and coach) as well as six high school students who have distinguished themselves with their volunteer endeavors.

Allie Smulka was our keynote speaker. Smulka works at Patterson Foundation & Corporate Giving and serves on the Holy Cross Education Foundation Board, modeling a dedication to giving back in both her professional and personal life.

The popular Lucky Duck Race returns for its third year in June.

Purchase a duck, decorate it to your liking, and float it down Minnehaha Creek in Arden Park to win glory and fabulous prizes!

• Children's Race at 5:30 p.m. $20 donation per duck, with a multiple-child family discount. Winner of most "dapper duck" and fastest duck receives a season pass to the Edina Aquatic Center

• Adult Race at 6:00 p.m. $40 donation per duck for adults, $200 donation for businesses. Winner of most "dapper duck" receives a gift card for adult beverages. Winner of fastest duck can designate $500 to the nonprofit of their choice.

Edina Magazine has long supported ECF by publishing stories about our events and programs. In January, they printed a story about the neighborhood book clubs. Look for stories about the Edina Parade in the July edition.
