The Annual Economic Summit provides a snapshot of the local economy, highlighting recent projects and accomplishments of our local business community, and providing perspective from local business leaders about the state of our economy. The 2022 Economic Summit will be an engaging, participatory virtual event where all attendees can engage on the important topics of workforce development, housing, and tourism & downtown recovery.

Congratulations to La Jerne Terry Cornish!
The Ithaca College Board of Trustees has voted unanimously to name Dr. La Jerne Terry Cornish as the 10th president of Ithaca College. Cornish, who had been serving as interim president since August 30, 2021, begins her new status as president immediately.

Governor Announces "Fast NY" Grant Program
Through Empire State Development, Governor Hochul's fiscal year 2023 budget will make up to $200 million available to the new FAST NY grant program to develop sites that will attract high-tech manufacturing, particularly semiconductor manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and logistics businesses to the state to jumpstart New York's shovel-readiness and increase the state's attractiveness to large employers.
