A Message From the Grand Knight

Good Morning Athanasius ,

As we start 2023, I’d like to wish each and every brother Knight and their family a very happy new year. May we keep our focus on what is truly important: our faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His holy Church. To this end, I’d like to make you aware of two free resources which you will hopefully find helpful in the upcoming year. Both free podcasts will increase our knowledge of the Faith. Both podcasts can be found at the links below as well as on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Ascension Press Catechism in a Year Podcast: https://ascensionpress.com/pages/catechisminayear

I’d also like to thank all who regularly attend council meetings. Your active participation over the prior year is very much appreciated, and I look forward to working with you in the coming year. Please consider making 2023 the year you return to council meetings if you’re not a regular participant. We can always use new and fresh ideas. Our council meets in the gym at St. Joseph’s Church at 8 pm on the second Thursday of every month. We’ll be focusing on holding fish fries at the parish this Lenten season and recruiting new brothers. I hope to see you there!

Lastly, I ask that you please continue to keep Charles Giles in your prayers as he recovers from the coronavirus and underlying lung issues.

Blessed Fr. Michael J. McGivney, pray for us!

Vivat Jesus,

Kevin St. Pierre, GK
