Jesus Is Greater

April 7-May 12

Our view of Jesus is often too small. Some people outside the church reduce Jesus to a zealot or a moral teacher, while some Christians view him only as a necessary sacrifice or a nice moral example. All of these views fall short of seeing Jesus for who He really is—the Son of the Most High God, the Risen Christ and the Lord of All.

Enter the book of Hebrews. Through this powerful New Testament book, we gain the proper view of the Risen Jesus. His importance is clear. His primacy is unquestionable. Most of all, we discover Jesus is Greater than anything.

Join us as we explore the book of Hebrews and gain a larger view of the One worthy of our worship. Visit onthehill.life/greater for more information and we’ll see you on the Hill this Sunday at 9:30 in the chapel or 11:00 in the worship center.

Service, Not Serve Us

"Help is not 'all-inclusive' if it doesn’t provide space for the person who is seeking help. The person who best understands a person’s needs is that person. They are living with that need; they are the experts."

McKenzie, Associate Director at The Block Community Outreach, explores the question, What does it mean to truly serve in the blog exploring Church on the Hill's value of "Service, Not Serve Us." Read more of McKenzie's blog post: Service, Not Serve Us: The Art of True Compassion.
