Ban on Burning
The fire hazard is extremely high right now due to the dry weather conditions. This has led to the Hampton Township Fire Department not issuing burn permits. Protecting the health, safety and property of our residents is of utmost concern.

Brush Chipping Begins The Week of Tuesday, April 6th.
This service is intended only for pruning, thinning and trimming of trees, shrubs and bushes. It is not a tree removal service therefore, brush left after a commercial tree service will not be picked up.

Brush Chipping will begin in April and the last chipping will be in October. Chipping will begin on the 1st Tuesday of every month. (weather permitting and township emergencies take priority)

Brush MUST be out before the 1st Tuesday of the month.
The route may change each month.
Brush not put out in time will be left for the following month.
There is no list that you need to be put on.
10 minutes MAXIMUM per location.
Nothing larger than a 4" diameter.
Stacked neatly with all ends facing the road.
Vines, stumps and root balls can't be run through chipper & will be refused.
Finn Road Boat Launch Docks are In
The Hampton DPW has put the docks in at the Finn Road Park Boat Launch.

The 2021 pricing for boat launch vehicle parking permits has remained the same and is as follows:

Daily Boat Launch Parking Permit Fee: $6
Annual Boat Launch Parking Permit Fee: $50

Tickets will be issued to those that do not purchase a permit.
We ask that anyone fishing off the docks exit the docks when a boat in being put in the water or being removed from the water.
