In our parish, we pray for Kelly, Hanohano, Chris, Lola, Sylvia, Deedie, Heather, Ronnie, Wayne, Coco, June, Beverly, Susan, and for all who have contracted the Corona virus, caregivers, and those facing unemployment.
We also pray for victims of violence around the world.

Second announcement for Holy Nativity’s Hopeathon Hawai’i, our first-ever virtual game coding contest. Designed to inspire Middle and High school students residing in Hawai’i to code games stressing positive values such as faith, hope and love, Hopeathon Hawai’i will be used to illustrate these values for our beloved Holy Nativity School students--as well as preK--Elementary students everywhere--in a fun format online.
Our contest is scheduled to be held virtually starting on August 6th; it will culminate on the weekend of December 5th at Holy Nativity. If you are able to help us by reviewing game rules for legal compliance, identifying great sponsors, or just plain have questions, feel free to contact Alison Kittle at hopeathonhawaii@gmail.com. Mahalo, and Get With the Game!

"Do not pray for easy lives!
Pray to be stronger men and women!
Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers
Prayer for powers equal to your task,
Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle. But you shall be a miracle.
Every day you shall wonder at yourself
at the richness which has come into you,
by the grace of God."

HOLY NATIVITY SUNDAY SCHOOL TO RECONVENE AFTER EASTER
Ms. Chandi Hinrichs and Ms. Tusi Mayer will reopen classes, in person, on Sunday mornings at 9am, beginning on Sunday, April 18! Children are welcome to join these classes, held outdoors on the lanai. Masks are required and everyone will observe social distancing.
Children are always welcome to attend or return to church with their parents, of course. We also understand if there are families who are not yet able to join us in person safely. Sunday School classes will be in session on all Sundays of the month except the second Sunday, which is a family service for the whole congregation. If you have questions, please email Chandi (Chandihinrichs2@aol.com) or Tusi (tusit578@gmail.com).
