Looking for funds to help pay for your COCC education? Consider this: It typically takes less than 60 minutes to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA. The application is used for all federal financial aid opportunities, including the Federal Pell Grant and Federal Work-Study Program. And the State of Oregon uses the FAFSA to determine eligibility for state aid. According to this article on CNBC.com, in 2019 some 43% of families reported not completing the FAFSA because they believed they couldn’t qualify for aid -- while the reality, the article shares, is that almost every applicant receives something. Contact Financial Aid for more information at 541-383-7260 or [email protected].
