The 12th annual Student Banner Project kicks off this week downtown! Each year, in partnership with Boulder Arts Week, artwork created by students from Columbine Elementary, Casey Middle School and Boulder High School are displayed on light poles along the Pearl Street Mall!

Explore these talented student's art interpretations to the thematic question, "What makes the community's future bright?". Be sure to check out all of the banners and download the student banner map to guide you!

A ceremony to celebrate the students will be held on Tuesday, March 19th at 4:30 PM on the 1300 block of the Pearl Street Mall (by the Visitor Information Center). Stop by and show support for the featured student artists!

Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) continues their 20th anniversary celebration through an array of extravagant events!

Celebrating Boulder's love of food and film, BIFF presents their CineCHEF event, Thursday, February 29th starting at 5:30 PM. This special culinary event highlights talented chefs throughout Boulder's restaurant scene - special shoutout to talented downtown chefs: Chef Rich Byers (Jill's Restaurant & Bistro), Chef Sheila Lucero (Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar), Chef Michael Bertozzi (The Kitchen American Bistro), Chef Bradford Heap (SALT) and Chef Jeremy McGinty (River & Woods)! Explore the entire list of featured chefs.

Dive into this delicious mix of food and film and be sure to purchase tickets before they sell out!

DBP's Annual Awards Luncheon celebrates the incredible impact that businesses, organizations and individuals have on the downtown community. This year's recipient of the Rising Star Award is the amazing, Andrea Uzarowski, Owner of Süti & Co.

Upon opening the shop in 2022, Andrea states in her small business spotlight, "I truly feel like this space found me. Being so close to Pearl Street is wonderful, but we still get our own tucked away corner of peace. My clientele are receptive to my vision for the shop and the story behind it. I feel so honored to be welcomed here with open arms."

Andrea's Scandinavian-style cafe embodies the warmth of downtown with it's inviting energy, delicious drinks and her delightful bites. Support Andrea's life work turned dream and stop by this East End treasure.
