The Worship Team Needs You!
Have you ever considered a more active role in our worship services at Trinity? The Worship Commission could use more volunteers in many different ministries, including Children’s Chapel Ministers, Chalice Bearers, Acolytes, Lectors, Ushers, Choir members, and Altar Guild members. Many who serve in these ministerial roles have reported a deepened experience of worship, and a closeness to God. If you feel you may be called to one of these ministries, please visit with Dave or Claire, or with Bernadette Ellis. We would be delighted to explore any of these ministry opportunities with you.

THANK YOU!
Warm thanks to the Parish Life Committee for hosting such a delightful Breakfast in the Courtyard last Sunday. The food was delicious, the fellowship enjoyable, and the weather lovely. We hold this event twice a year, so if you missed this past Sunday, this opportunity will roll around again in the fall.

Hymn Resource
In response to requests made at our Holy Cow meeting on March 30th, we are going to try to include a list of hymns for the upcoming Sunday in our weekly Tidings, including links to recordings, where possible. The website we are using is called Small Church Music. Sometimes they have recordings of the organ only, sometimes organ and vocals, and for some hymns they have no recording at all, so there will be no link provided. These hymns may change on rare occasion, but we hope this will provide a resource for those who wish to familiarize themselves with the worship music in advance.

Mothers Day
Your mother is always with you.
She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street. She's the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick and perfume that she wore.
She's the cool hand on your brow when you're not feeling well. She's your breath in the air on a cold winter's day. She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow. She is Christmas morning. Your mother lives inside your laughter. She's crystallized in every teardrop. A mother shows every emotion .......happiness, sadness, fear, jealousy, love, hate, anger, helplessness, excitement, joy, sorrow... and all the while, hoping and praying you will only know the good feelings in life. She's the place you came from, your first home, and she's the map you follow with every step you take.
She's your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on earth can separate you. Not time, not space...not even death! Author: unknown

Sabbatical
Father Dave will begin his sabbatical on Monday, May 23, and it will extend through Labor Day. Sabbatical time away from parish ministry is rooted in the biblical concept of sabbath – a time away from productive labor for the purpose of rest and renewal in God. Are you wondering what a sabbatical is all about? Would you like to hear some of what Dave has planned for this time? Please join us for Adult Education on Sunday at 9:15 am in the Parish Hall Classroom for a time of learning & conversation with Dave.

We have so many new members and friends among us, and we want to know your names! The name tags are magnetic, so you won’t have to puncture your clothes.
