Springing Up Data
Refreshed Dashboard, New Insight.
Continuing to provide access to reliable and vetted data in context, the North Dakota Compass team updated the Impact of COVID-19 on North Dakota Households with Children dashboard with recent Household Pulse Survey data. The dashboard reports selected impacts related to household economics, food insufficiency, mental health, health care, education and childcare, based on data collected from April 2020 to February 2022.

Timely Data.
In observance of the Older Adults Month (May), we take a look at the older North Dakotans. Taking into consideration regional differences and the trends affecting the older population will help policy makers, health and human services, and community leaders more effectively plan for the needs, challenges and opportunities impacting older residents in North Dakota.

Data At The District Level.
The state legislative district profiles have been updated!
Please note that 2022 Profiles are based on the 2013-2022 North Dakota Legislative District boundaries. Legislative District boundaries are redrawn every ten years when the new Census numbers are released. After the 2020 Census was completed, new boundaries for North Dakota districts were redrawn and will take effect next year in 2023, and extend through 2032.

Spring Cleaned Profiles.
North Dakota Compass recently redesigned and updated all geographic profiles at the state, planning region, county, city, metropolitan and micropolitan areas and American Indian reservation levels. The new profiles summarize key demographic and socio-economic indicators such as demographics, households, income and poverty, housing, workforce and transportation.

Blossoms of Knowledge.
From April 1st, 2020 (Census 2020) to July 1st, 2021 (2021 Population estimates), 39 counties lost population. Which county had the largest percentage decrease in population?
