JUNE 2ND, 2021
It's the time of year when everything from the depths of one's closet and forgotten items kept on tall shelving are pulled out and hauled to the driveway. That's right, it's Rummage Sale TIME. Shoppers with grit are cheering while the rest of you just shuttered at the thought of rifling through a stranger's dusty décor and hand-me-down garments. For those of you that cheered, I agree!

Rummaging through items that have lost their favor with the current owner is like searching for buried treasure. It's an adventure with unknown potential and I find it delightful. As a child there was nothing more empowering than knowing that the coins in my pocket could send me home with a vase, a magnet, perhaps plastic flowers, a bowl, a fish tank or countless other outdated items left to be sold for pennies. Winning!

That same buying power is on its way to Elkhorn, WI! The City Wide Rummage is scheduled for June 11th and 12th, 2021. Rain or shine, garage doors will be opened, tents will be erected, and items will be strewn about your neighbor's front yard. In an effort to help connect rummage enthusiasts with eager sellers, a map has been created as a rummage resource.
No more hunting down homemade signs on telephone polls or aimlessly driving in search of your next shopping experience. Maximize your efforts and map out where you'll shop. Check out items listed in advance to help seekers find what they are looking for.

Best of luck to all our rummage hosts and equally to our rummagers as we wait to experience the mighty shift in the universe as trash becomes treasure on June 11th and June 12th! Happy Rummaging!
