Our Partnership with the STEM Alliance
Twelve Carver Center teens are participating in a new program called Digital Equity Now, a STEM Alliance of Larchmont initiative. The goal of the program is to teach teens how to efficiently use digital technology for educational and research/learning purposes.
Students are being trained on WIX, a web- design platform, LinkedIn, and social media apps. Teens will create a personal website and will receive a ChromeBook and hotspot upon completion of the program. For our teens, this is a win-win opportunity as they navigate through this critical stage of personal development.
