The NEAAO Ambassadors together serve as a steering committee whose mission is to identify community needs and advocate to ensure equitable solutions. Composed of members ages 16-26, these dynamic young adults, reflecting a wide range of skills, interests, talents, leadership qualities and lived experience, inspire youth of all ages to set and accomplish goals. NEAAO Ambassadors regularly survey peers to identify the pressing issues facing young people today. They research different approaches and designs plans. Proposals are shared with the NEAAO Board of Directors, ensuring that leadership is prepared for future generations.  Being part of NEAAO Ambassadors also means advancing professional skills like grant writing, fundraising, and problem solving--tools that will strengthen and empower the team members in their future careers.

NEAAO playsThe Maine Game
Wednesdays on Facebook

Maine is a beautiful state! Join NEAAO as we virtually visit the lakes, coasts, towns and mountains in The Maine Game. Each week, we share a photo or short video of a special Maine place on Facebook and you guess where we are! Weekly winners will be entered into a drawing to win free passes and trips to Maine’s many attractions. This is a fun way to learn more about our amazing state and win the chance to visit these places in person!

Rules: Photos and videos will be posted on NEAAO’s Facebook page each Wednesday at 5 pm. Use FB Messenger to send your answer. The first person to guess correctly is entered into the monthly drawing. Only one guess per person. WInner will be announced on Friday at 5 pm. All weekly winners will be entered into the prize drawing on the last Saturday of the month at 11 am. Contest open to all ages.
