A GREAT DAY IN THE KINGDOM
Have you ever considered the nature of your Salvation in Jesus Christ? Quite often Salvation is presented with the intentional caveat, that limits our perspective. Salvation encompasses much...

WHAT'S HAPPENING
SUNDAY, MARCH 7th
MISSION DAY

First thru sixth graders and their families are invited to attend a Mission Day at Glen Lake Camp in Glen Rose, Texas! What will you do? You will work for one hour then have fun canoeing, fishing, hiking and more for the remainder of the day. A hot dog lunch along with a short devotional time is also included. INVITATION TO JOHN BIBLE STUDY
Thursdays, March 4th-May 27th, 7:00pm, Gathering Room

The invitation from Christ is: "Come and see, Follow me". Experience the magnificent passages in John including the I am statements (I am the truth, the life and the way, I am the living water and more). Revisit stories only told in John's gospel including Nicodemus, Mary Magdalene and the raising of Lazarus. This eleven-week study includes a participant book, available on Amazon, outlining daily reading assignments and a video component. Sign up for this class, lead by Fanci Coyle and Matt Reed, at the Connection Center or by emailing Kim Watson.
LET'S GET CRACKING!
We are ramping up for our Community Easter Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt. We always have an egg-cellent turn out so need your help. Teresa would be egg-static to see the donation box in the narthex filled to the brim with egg hunt supplies.
HOLY WEEK
STAFF PROFILE - TRUDY SMITH
One in an occasional series on our staff from your SPR committee
If our church had a crown, Trudy Smith would be one of its jewels. She’s our Director of Congregational Care. While pastoral care is all-encompassing, congregational care is nearly so, minus a few things such as baptisms and blessings of the elements. Her title though doesn’t quite capture all that she does.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
All our Adult Sunday School classrooms are now open. If your class would like to meet back in-person you are welcome to. We are leaving it up to the discretion of each class to choose what format they want use to continue their classes. We ask, that if you choose to meet in-person, please follow the CDC guidelines on safety by wearing a mask, social distancing and sanitizing the room after use. If you need any sanitation supplies please email ricky@aledoumc.org.
NURSERY SUNDAY SCHOOL
March 7th 10:00-11:00am

Starting Sunday 7th, our KidsTown Nursery will be open for the Sunday School hour. We will take all aged 0-5 years. We are hoping to be able to extend this time, but this hinges on having volunteers and vaccinated people available. If you are able to support this ministry please email Teresa Chisum.
BIBLE STUDY
Wednesdays, 6:00pm, Parking Lot

Read the Bible in ninety days. It’s easier than you thought! Once you break it down into bite-sized pieces, what may have seemed to be a formidable challenge becomes doable and enjoyable. Pastor Joel will lead this study helping you to fulfill what for many Christians is a longstanding ambition: reading through the entire Bible. Purchase your participants guide from Amazon.
AUMC T-SHIRTS AND SWEATSHIRTS
Check out the AUMC long sleeved t-shirts and sweatshirts available for sale in the Narthex. Help promote our church and provide an opportunity for you to invite someone to join us. T-shirts are $20 and sweatshirts are $25.

If your size or preferred style isn't available there is an order form for new orders.
