A NOTE FROM The Headmaster:

We are thrilled at the physical growth of our building and new school but also of the impact that our founding families have had on being a part for starting well! Our faculty and staff are so excited to begin the amazing work this coming month with new faculty training beginning in July. We will be working daily on preparing for this coming year and getting ready for your amazing students on August 11th. Look out for more information soon about upcoming events, PSO communication, Ribbon Cutting, Meet the Teacher Night, and so much more!

It is our vision to establish a community of learners and deep thinkers in Arlington. And that starts with you. It is a community, it is a partnership. That is why we are so thrilled that you are partnering with us. We can’t do it without you. We are a community that questions and seeks out understanding. It is a conversation of open mindedness, mutual responsibility, and of growth. A community that knows and understands that this great work is bigger than us. We get to create something new together, to build an intentional culture. We want to be challenged and to challenge, to meet student needs and develop them beyond what they thought was possible. To work with you in opening our eyes and forming our souls.

With a servant’s heart,
Andrew Duininck- Headmaster

Daniel McNichol
Middle School Math/Science Teacher

I am excited to serve as a founding faculty member of Great Hearts Arlington for the upcoming school year. This May I will be graduating from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a degree in mathematical science and philosophy, after which I will be marrying my fiancé and moving down to Texas to begin my teaching career.

I enjoy problem-solving and learning new things, and my hobbies include reading philosophy, playing chess, and being outdoors.

A firm believer in holistic education focused on the human person, I am looking forward to contributing to the Great Hearts mission of advancing the classical liberal arts.

My name is Cecilia Anthony. I am from Dallastown, PA and I am the second oldest of 8 kids. I love to sing, read, write songs and books, and anything to do with art. I play the ukulele, and I love to play card games.

My top 2 strengths are Inclusivity and Empathy. These strengths are perfect for Relationship building, which is something very important to me.

I am so excited to join the Great Hearts team and community!
