I don't know about most of you, but I moved to Georgia in 1985 and been in Fayette County ever since, Peachtree City. The city is like quicksand I think, as a lot of people who move here stay. My first job was at Hardees, the only fast food restaurant at the time. It was a lot of fun. Getting to one side of town to another was a breeze. Going to Newnan and Fayetteville didn't take long at all.
Today - we all know how long it takes to get to Newnan from Peachtree City, especially during rush hour, like from 8am-8pm it seems. So, with cities and towns growing, do you stay because that is what you call home now? There's definitely a whole lot more places to shop and go out to eat than there was before. Or, do you pick up and move somewhere where there's less traffic? Or, do you plan when you'll be out and about so you won't be stuck in traffic?
Some people who want to stay close by end up moving just outside of the city, such as in Tyrone, Brooks, Moreland. Whatever the case may be, we can definitely help. ~K
