Dear Friend,
We have so much to share at Cornerstone VNA, we hope you look at some of the work our team is doing in the community. I am so proud of our staff for going above and beyond during these challenging times.
We are now starting to plan our Flu clinics for this fall. Keep an eye on our website for a clinic near you. We also provide Flu vaccines to all our patients in their homes when they need it.
It is an honor to serve those in need in our 43 communities in NH and Maine, going on 110 years this coming January.
When you need us, we are here for you. We are just a call away.
Stay well,
Julie Reynolds, RN, MS
President/CEO

Can’t get to the lab? We’ll come to you!

We are pleased to introduce a new mobile phlebotomy service for individuals who need lab draws done at home. Cornerstone VNA was able to launch this innovative service by using generous funding from FedPoint to purchase several mobile centrifuge machines, which are used to spin blood samples. The goal of this service is to make lab tests more convenient and comfortable for individuals needing routine lab work.
If an individual needs their blood drawn, but cannot get to a collection site due to mobility issues or other factors, Cornerstone VNA will go to wherever they call home. For some people, an illness or disability can make it hard to travel, and some may simply want to avoid crowded outpatient labs, driving, and wait times. It is also the perfect service for individuals who may prefer the convenience and privacy of receiving care in their own home. In-home phlebotomy services can also help individuals with anxiety and needle phobia, or who have standing orders for repeat testing. Please contact our Life Care- Private Duty department at 603-332-1133 Ext 1758 for more details.

Supporting blankets for Veterans through our We Honor Veterans program.
Last year, High School Senior, Grant Currie, donated over 50 handmade blankets to be given to Veterans who were in the care of our Hospice Team.
To keep Grant's wonderful contributions going, Service Credit Union has provided funding to support the continuation of this initiative.
Our volunteers will be able to continue making these special blankets and present them to our veteran patients. It is a special way to honor and express our gratitude for their service.

Supporting our underfunded programs, particularly our Community Palliative Care program and our new lymphedema program, which has been tremendously beneficial to our most vulnerable patients.
The donations we receive from individuals, local businesses, and charitable foundations helps us to sustain these important programs and allows us to provide the best possible care for those in need.
