Grim Anniversary
From a statement last week by Bishops United Against Gun Violence observing the 22nd anniversary of the massacre at Columbine High School in Colorado: "...today, as the students who survived that horrific day at Columbine turn 40 and the babies who were born that year graduate from college, our country’s gun problem is worse than it has been in several decades. Since Columbine, more than 248,000 American students have experienced the trauma of gun violence at school. Instead of enacting common sense gun reform, we have raised a generation of children accustomed to active shooter drills." More...

Fifth Sunday of Easter
Morning Prayer at 9:30 AM
We'll be back in the church this Sunday with a morning prayer service led by minister of music Peter Van Siclen. Steve Horst will preach. Organist Ernie Adams will be on hand to play hymns. The service will be simulcast on Facebook. There will be no coffee hour.

Choir Tonight at 7:00 PM via Zoom
Join us for a choir reunion/information session! This will both be a chance for former choir members to catch up and reconnect, as well as a chance for those interested in singing to meet other singers. We will sing some songs, discuss ways we can make music during covid restrictions, as well as make plans for when we are able to sing in church again. Ekklesia Ballet Spring Performances

Ekklesia Ballet will hold its first live, in-person performance of the season! Ekklesia presents "Body and Land" and other contemporary works in its season repertory performance on Sunday, May 16 at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Performances will be held at the beautiful outdoor theater at the Incarnation Center, 253 Bushy Hill Rd, Deep River, CT 06417.
