IHS PARTNER SPOTLIGHT: NHSN Reporting Success
When the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) changed the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) reporting requirement for IHS facilities from quarterly to monthly reporting, a slew of barriers could have stood in the way of achieving such a mandate. However, IHS Headquarters staff, IHS facility staff and PATH team members rallied.
