Hello Class of 2026!
My name is Jennifer Tolbert, and I am the new Director of Enrollment and Admissions. Mrs. Courtney Page, who many of you may have worked with last year, is full-time in the counselors office working with the junior class. I am a proud alumna (Class of 1997) and current parent of a rising sophomore. Please know I just went through this entire process last year, so I hope to serve as a wealth of information for you and your family as you navigate your child's freshman year! For the past three years, I have served as the Director of Advancement for Catholic Schools for our Archdiocese. Prior, I had the privilege of serving as the Director of Enrollment and Alumni Affairs here at McT; so this is truly a homecoming for me. I am honored to work with your student and family, and look forward to partnering with you over the next four years.
To help make the adjustment to McGill-Toolen Catholic the best it can possibly be, your student is required to attend a Freshman Orientation Day. If you are a first-time McT parent (or are in need of a refresher course) please make plans to attend the New Parent Orientation next Thursday, August 11th. It's a great opportunity to get answers to all of your questions, meet our administrative team and leave feeling prepared for the start of the school year.
New Parent Meeting (Parents/Guardians Only)
Thursday, August 11th 5:30 PM - Gym (Portier Center)
*Please enter through the Student Center Agora, Lafayette Street
All new parents will receive their parent PowerSchool account information and instructions for set-up at this meeting (your student will receive his/her PowerSchool account information at Orientation as these are different).
Freshman Orientation Day (Students Only)
Friday, August 12th 7:30 - 11:20 AM
Female students should arrive at McT via the front entrance to the McGill Building (Catherine Street entrance) based on the time schedule below:
Last name begins with:
- A - L: 7:30 AM
- M-Z: 7:45 AM
Male students should arrive at McT via the front entrance to the Student Center (Lafayette Street entrance) based on the time schedule below:

- A - L: 7:30 AM
- M-Z: 7:45 AM
Instructions for Freshman Orientation Day:
- Orientation days are counted as official days of school attendance.
- Students must report in full, appropriate uniform with adherence to all grooming regulations or they will not be allowed to participate in Orientation until any uniform and/or grooming violations are corrected.
- Students will be directed to the Gym for their uniform check, yearbook photo/student ID and schedule.

- Class of 2026 closed Facebook group: this is a private group with lots of great general information as well as things that may only apply to your child's class. Please request to join if you have not yet already! You will find the link to join this group on the New Parent Information page mentioned above.
- Maureen LaCour is your class of 2026 Parent Representative. She is a proud alumna with an incoming freshman as well as a senior; she is a veteran who is here to answer questions and provide helpful hints!
- Mrs. Kristen Brack is the Freshman Class Moderator who will help with pep rallies and other fun activities on campus.
