Lifecycles 101

Lifecycles 101 is our introductory online course that teaches the basics of our stage-based framework that works to strengthen and sustain effectiveness for organizations.

Taking this two day program will enhance your skills and ability to assist nonprofits in achieving their capacity-building objectives.

Celebrating the Second Graduating

Cohort of Embracing Disruption

In February, members of Central New York's nonprofit community celebrated the second graduating class from The Gifford Foundation's Embracing Disruption cohort program. The program provided $15,000 grants and consultant support for 17 months to aid in organizational development. Guided by the Nonprofit Lifecycles Institute's model, organizations assessed their stages for better understanding of challenges and priorities, facilitating growth and goal-setting.

Our president and CEO, Jennifer Bonnett, led the cohort through the 17-month capacity building program and was excited to celebrate their graduation with them.

The five organizations included Reach CNY, A Tiny Home for Good, Helping Hounds Dog Rescue, The Community Folk Art Center, and Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo. Congrats grads!

May 8 in Marietta College, Ohio where she will be the keynote speaker and workshop leader at Nonprofits LEAD Annual Capacity Building Conference
May 21 in Indianapolis for Alliance for Nonprofit Management's annual conference: 'Grappling with Power.' She will be speaking on 'Building Ecosystems for Organizations: The Lifecycles Approach to Capacity.'

Our featured member of the month is Steven Schack, Founder and Managing Director of Clear Blue Associates. Clear Blue Associates' focus is on helping their clients achieve great outcomes and lasting results for themselves, their teams, and their organizations by strengthening their people and process capacity.

Steven's area of expertise is organizational and leadership development, and executive and succession coaching. The Lifecycles he specializes in are Growth, Maturity, and Turn-Around.
