2023

HIGHLIGHTS

#NotAloneChallenge

Some of the biggest thought leaders, Founders & CEOs, musicians, celebs, athletes, and mental health experts have joined our NotAloneChallenge in partnership with Jewel and iHeartRadio. Notable names include Andrea Bocelli, Ray Dalio, Cofounder of Apple Steve Wozniak, Michael Bublé, Jada Pinkett Smith, Paris Hilton, Kris Jenner, Luis Fonsi, Chevy Chase and more. See the full list here.

Cofounder & CEO of MTV and iHeartMedia Bob Pittman, Jewel, and our foundation partnered with hundreds of influential people to create the largest mental health campaign in history - reaching 1.46 billion social media impressions and 305 million press impressions. This year is already significantly larger thanks to help from Jewel, Aphrah Brokaw, and Co-Executive Producers Casey Caruso and Sydney King, working with our team of youth interns who have had a tremendous impact.

The campaign was created to remind people they’re not alone during the holidays, while providing a free mental health toolkit. The challenge also helps to raise funds to provide mental health programming to those in need.

Much of this challenge was co-created and run by Jewel and ICF youth.

Their personal support, mentorship leadership and insights are extremely valuable to our youth.

Bryan Brothers Day

Thanks to ICF Co-Chairs and our cherished ambassadors Bob and Mike Bryan, youth from around the city had an incredible time at the Bryan Bros. Community Clinic! Legends Wayne, Bob, and Mike Bryan, led the day while supported by TEAM BRYAN coaches and youth. Over 150 kids got to participate in this amazing free event!

From the Junior Clinic, Pro-Am, lunch, dinner and an awards celebration at the Stirling Club, the ICF interns organized and ran our all-day event with impeccable energy and attention to detail, while earning invaluable life skills.

A special thank you for the extremely generous donation made by the Bryans, aka the winningest tennis team in history, whose support makes our TEAM BRYAN program possible!

Foundation Reserve Partnership

We are honored to be the official charitable partner of the Foundation Reserve. We are doing a dinner series for thought leaders in six major cities, including Tuscany, Italy to bring awareness and advocacy for mental health policy and programing. Through this dinner series, and the unique Foundation Reserve Social Club, we are helping unite passionate individuals who share a love for extraordinary food, mental health, music and travel.

The Foundation Reserve is sponsoring our #NotAlone Dinner Series events that will be hosted by key supporters and take place throughout 2024 at exclusive locations around the world. We are in the process of confirming extraordinary mental health experts and musical talent to perform, including Jewel and many others.

INSPIRE Weekend

Thanks to advisory board members Patrick Parker and Cody Winterton, and board member Dann Battistone, the whole Lake Las Vegas community came out to support our mental health awareness weekend. The first annual INSPIRE Weekend was a huge success, celebrating our foundation's values and commitments to our whole human approach to physical, emotional, and mental development to over 400 participants at Lake Las Vegas.

100% of the events programming activities were created by and run by the children in the foundation. In line with our commitment to project-driven learning, the uniquely youth-led event consisted of various fun and engaging wellness activities, including:

  • Pickleball Tournament
  • 5K Run/Walk
  • Outdoor Yoga
  • High Tea
  • Golf Tournament

Leadership Retreats

Leadership Retreats are one of the most powerful programs we provide. Students are taken out of their day-to-day lives and placed into new environments, often involving nature, self-reflection and team bonding that gives them a new perspective on life and a greater sense of appreciation for what they have.

We successfully held numerous retreats, including our marquee events:

  • Strategic Planning Retreat In Joshua Tree
  • BIG Nature Mindfulness River Retreats
  • Summer Leadership Retreat at Malibu Fig Ranch
  • East Coast Leadership Trip
  • Winter Leadership Retreat at the Westin Lake Las Vegas

A big thank you to Westin Lake Las Vegas, Kelly Price, Jennifer & Tony Smorgon, and Kerry Clasby at Malibu Fig Ranch for making our retreats possible!

USTA Facility of the Year Award

Our Lorenzi Park program was awarded the United States Tennis Association’s Facility of the Year Award during the US Open in New York City.

ICF is appreciative to the City of Las Vegas Parks and Recreation, City Councilman Cedric Crear, our wonderful tennis community, the youth we serve, and our fantastic staff who helped secure this prestigious award.

We are pleased to offer world class tennis programming out of Las Vegas’s Lorenzi Park through our TEAM BRYAN Program and NO QUIT Tennis Academy. We offer a free weekly city-wide tennis class where children’s lives are transformed with our pathway of physical, social, emotional & mental health, inspiring families to find inner and outer success.

Our partner, the NO QUIT Academy Team Bryan program is modeled after Bob & Mike Bryan's rigorous training model, and led by renowned coaches Tim Blenkiron, James McGee, and Dave MacPherson.

The USTA award recognizes our efforts at providing quality, safe, astounding tennis-related programming that makes an important contribution to the game of tennis.

Neal Mills, MD, Global Chief Medical Officer of Goldman Sachs Joins Board of Directors

We were thrilled to welcome the Global Chief Medical Officer of Goldman Sachs, Neal Mills, MD, to our Board of Directors! Neal has a rich background of providing medical services in both healthcare and corporate settings. City Proclamation

We are grateful to the City of Las Vegas and Councilman Cedric Crear for the warm recognition of our USTA Outstanding Facility Award, and officially naming October 4, 2023 the Inspiring Children Foundation’s Day in the greater city of Las Vegas.

None of this could be possible without the work of our founder Ryan Wolfington, cofounders Jewel and Marty Hennessy, and our collaboration with the Bryan Brothers, the winningest doubles team in history, Bob & Mike Bryan on the TEAM BRYAN program at the NO QUIT Tennis Academy.

BNP Trip

We continued a multi-decade tradition, started by Marty Hennessy, of taking youth and families to see one of the greatest professional tennis tournaments in the world: The BNP Paribas Open.

Over 400 youth and family participated in our 22nd annual BNP trip, allowing ICF and TEAM BRYAN youth to witness tennis at the highest level. Post-grad interns, through our project-driven learning program, helped facilitate every aspect of the trip including ticketing, hotel reservations, and tennis clinics with internationally renowned coach and father to the Bryan Bros., Wayne Bryan. We are extremely grateful to our interns and youth who run it 90% of this experience.

Hosted 21 Tournaments

Thanks to William Elmore and our team at Lorenzi Park, we hosted 21 national, sectional, and local tennis tournaments. Special thank you's to tournament sponsors, including TEAM BRYAN, NO QUIT Tennis Academy, and the TAO Group. Special mention and thank you to Anthony Paglia Injury Lawyer for sponsoring the free citywide tournament, making tennis available to everyone for free.
