Anna Khan is a General Partner at Charles River Ventures. She previously spent five years at Bessemer Venture Partners investing across the software ecosystem. She is also the Founder and CEO of Launch X, an accelerator helping female founders learn how to raise capital for business. Saleem Ahmad is a Senior Managing Director at Afiniti, world’s largest applied artificial intelligence company. He is Co-Founder and Partner at 47 Ventures, the first international venture capital firm focused on Pakistan. He is Chairman of the Advisory Board at National Incubation Center at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). He earned degrees from University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, London School of Economics, and LUMS. Read More

In our new video series, APF Research Spotlight, we introduce academics in our communities who are at cutting-edge of research and practice in their disciplines. Academics of Pakistani descent in the United States play a vital role in building intellectual bridges and creating research partnerships between Americans and Pakistanis. From quantum physics to biomedical engineering and political science, this series sheds light on the immense intellectual capacity and contributions of our communities.
