Caelynn Prylo Joins the Museum of Innovation and Science (miSci) as Vice President of Education
December 22, 2022 – Schenectady, New York – The Museum of Science and Innovation (miSci) announced today the appointment of Caelynn Prylo as Vice President of Education. In this role, Prylo will lead the Museum's team of education specialists who create and deploy hundreds of classes and public programs for adults, children, and school teachers.

"We are thrilled for Caelynn to join the Museum as she brings many strengths to our mission of welcoming and engaging our community through interactive exhibitions and programs that encourage them to inquire about science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM)," said miSci President Gina C. Gould.

"I am excited to bring my background in community education to miSci to continue the great work already happening and develop new educational programs that celebrate the rich history of innovation in our region and inspire people of all ages with STEAM-focused learning opportunities," Prylo added.

Caelynn Prylo
Caelynn received a BA in Anthropology from the University of Vermont and an MS in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from the University at Albany. With 20 years of progressive responsibility in higher education, she has extensive experience in workforce development and training, faculty development, and instructional design. Caelynn recently stepped down as the President of the Continuing Education Association of NY and the regional Workforce Development Board for Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties.

Before joining miSci, she was the Dean for Continuing Education and Workforce Innovation at SUNY Adirondack, offering programs and services to students and the greater SUNY Adirondack community including non-credit courses; customized workforce training; teaching & learning support for faculty; special initiatives in K–12 pipeline programs; entrepreneurship and small business support; and events services.
