Aquaport Grand Reopening This Friday!
Don't miss out as we celebrate Aquaport Grand Reopening this Friday, May 28 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Only residents with a current Maryland Heights Privilege Card and Season Pass Holders will be admitted. The night includes giveaways, music and a ribbon cutting followed by swimming, surfing and fun! Kick off the summer and be one of the first to check out everything new in 2021 including:
  • Privilege Card/Season Pass Holders can skip the wait with a dedicated VIP entry line.
  • Exclusive hours for entry for VIPs.
  • Ride the new FlowRider feature at no additional cost (non-residents pay a fee).
  • Remodeled concession stand with new menu items.
  • New spray and splash features in the kids' area.

(Ages 6-12) Maryland Heights Summer Camp has been reimagined for 2021! Campers will be broken into smaller groups by age and spend their days participating in a variety of games, activities and crafts. Each week will have a different theme to keep kids engaged.There will be a variety of activities, games and special guests joining us each week based on the theme. Some of these include tie-dyeing t-shirts, a visit for the snow cone truck, appearances from super heroes and a reptile experience with Serengeti Steve! Every Thursday, kids will be dropped off at the Community Center where they will spend the morning playing games and then walk to Aquaport for an afternoon of swimming! 

Cost per week is $130 for members, $155 for residents and $180 for non-residents. Extended care is available for an additional cost. Deadline to register is by Wednesday the week prior at noon.

Maryland Heights Pop-Up Market

(All ages) Join us at the Community Center the first Wednesday of the month June-September for the Maryland Heights Pop-Up Market! Shop from a wide variety of handmade, homemade and homegrown vendors. This family-friendly event also features food trucks and live entertainment.
Gateway Festival Orchestra to Stage Three Free Concerts

The City of Maryland Heights is excited to welcome the Gateway Festival Orchestra, under Music Director Darwin Aquino, to Saint Louis Music Park for three free outdoor concerts this summer. All shows will be under cover, with plenty of parking and no stairs.

The season opens Sunday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m. with the family friendly “For the Young and the Young at Heart,” featuring music from classic composers, animated movies and other films. “Celebrating” on Saturday, July 3 at 7:30 p.m. honors the vast human achievements of the past year and features a young artist, new work by a St. Louis composer and an original piece by Maestro Aquino. “Women in Music” on Sunday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m. includes three female soloists and an exciting Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman.

Positions available include lifeguards, slide attendants, grounds crew, cashiers/crew leaders for concessions and front desk, bus driver, camp counselor, custodian, customer relations aide, dance instructor, fitness attendant, inclusion assistant, preschool director, parks maintenance, personal trainer, preschool leader and play center attendant.

Adult Coed Kickball League

If you are looking for something new and fun, join us this summer for our new kickball league!
Maximum team roster is 12. Games will consist of 30 minutes or 7 innings. All games will be double headers. The league will include 7 regular season games and playoffs. Registration ends one week before start date.

Programs at Aquaport
We're bring back some of your favorite programs to Aquaport as well as a new one! Little Splashers and River Walking return Monday-Thursday, June 1-August 19 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. (and 7:15-8:15 p.m. for River Walking). Or, learn to surf with FlowRider lessons, running every two weeks June 7-August 5. Classes are offered Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday from 9:30-10:00 a.m., 7:15-7:45 p.m. or 7:35-8:15 p.m.

Kids' Fishing Derby

(Ages 4-12) Kids need to bring their own rod and reel but bait will be provided. There will be free hot dogs and soft drinks for all participants. Children must be accompanied by an adult. (Ages 2-4) Led by St. Louis Gallagher Soccer instructors, this camp teaches your child the basic concepts of soccer including balance, coordination, gross motor skills, social skills, building confidence and team playing. Parents must remain on site during sessions.

Youth Dance Classes

Hip Hop: 6:30-7:20 p.m.
Tap & Ballet: 5:30-6:20 p.m.
(Ages 6-10) Students work on body isolations and movement in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Age appropriate music is played. (Ages 4-6) Students learn basics of tap as well as the five ballet positions, short barre sequences, across the floor progressions and mini center-floor combinations. Tap shoes and ballet slippers are required.
