County Farmers Markets in full swing for summer
New Castle County's Farmer's Markets are in swing for the summer with locations at Glasgow Park, Carousel Park and Bellevue. There are also pop-up markets at Whitehall on select Fridays. New Castle County's Information Systems team has been ranked No. 5 nationally among counties with population of 500,000-999,999, up two spots from last year's ranking, by the Center for Digital Government and National Association of Counties. JAM named Best Bike Trail Upstate by Delaware Today
New Castle County's premier bike trail, the Jack A. Markell (JAM) Trail, was just named the Best Bike Trail Upstate in Delaware Today's Best of Delaware awards. The seven mile trail connects downtown Wilmington's Riverfront to Battery Park in Old New Castle and was completed in 2018. To learn more about the award, CLICK HERE.
