We are collecting money this week for WHAS Crusade for Children through our annual Coins for Crusade fundraiser. This is our way of giving back to an organization that has provided funding for various programs, equipment, and technology at Summit Academy.

All contributions students bring in will count as "votes" to see which teachers will participate in the WACKY SLIP 'N SLIDE CHALLENGE!

Containers are set up in the lobby for each participating staff member. Cast your vote in the form of currency into the the container of the staff member(s) of your choice!

End of year events such as 8th Grade and High School Graduation will occur on their regularly scheduled dates.
Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child’s art! There are over 60 products to choose from and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school. Click on the link below to start shopping.

KOSAIR KIDS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The Kosair Kids Financial Assistance Program at Kosair Charities provides direct financial assistance to families in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. It is designed to help with medical bills, equipment, and therapy of children 17 years of age and under, or still attending high school, whose families cannot otherwise afford to pay.

JOIN US FOR BBB!
FRIDAY | MAY 14 | 6PM
Bluegrass, Bourbon & BBQ is a fun evening that features live bluegrass music, delicious food, bourbon and bbq tastings, an open bar, and a live / silent auction! This year's event will be held outdoors on Summit Academy's back field.
We are in need of bottles of bourbon for our Wall of Bourbon! If you would like to donate a bottle ($30 value or more), please contact Kelly Jarboe at [email protected] or 244-7813.
ATTENTION 8TH GRADE
If you have not already done so, please help your 8th grade student complete this online form and upload a baby photo to be included in our 'Then & Now' yearbook feature. Photos should be of age two or younger. You may also email photos to [email protected].

Surveys and photos should be submitted by April 16 in order to be included.
COVID-19 SAFETY
  • Continue to follow all recommended safety guidelines outside of school hours including proper use of face coverings, social distancing, hand washing, and avoiding large gatherings
  • If your child or anyone in your family is exhibiting signs of illness, be sure to speak with a physician prior to sending your child to school
  • Temperatures will be taken prior to exiting vehicles
  • Masks should be worn at all times except while eating or directed by a teacher
  • Lunches should be brought in paper sacks or lunch boxes - no microwaves available
  • Water bottles should be sent with students daily as fountains will be closed
  • Masks and physical distancing are expectations on all playgrounds
