Weekly Director Letter 05/14/2021
Dear Parents,

I missed seeing you all this week. My mom suffered a mild heart attack and I was in Ocala with her assisting in her recovery. I am thrilled to say she is progressing nicely! I learned firsthand how easy working remotely can be. I am grateful to have been able to keep up with everyone through Brightwheel. While I was gone, I worked on our summer camp calendar. Although this is a draft, you can get a good idea of the coming attractions that are just a month away.

Many of our students will move classes over the summer instead of in the fall. Summer proves to be an easier transition as the mood is laxer as some kids will go on vacation and classes may have fewer kids throughout the summer.

Some staff will also be changing rooms so this will be a little adjustment for kids and staff. The good news is as most kids will be in their classes for the fall. August, there will be a little transition as most of the kids and staff will be familiar with each other. Look over the summer calendar and get ready for what is to come starting June 14th as we travel around the world on our Passport For Fun!

We are so excited to be bringing back our soccer program in full force as our soccer coach Miss Jackie has been fully vaccinated. We believe it is now safe to have her interact with multiple groups of kids. Soccer will be 2 days a week for kids moving into Rainbow and Blue Door and 5 days a week for kids going into VPK, Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade for the fall.

We are excited to announce that we are already close to capacity for the fall. Unless families told us they were moving, we have held spaces for all of you for the fall. Most families have already paid 2 of 3 $80 registration installments. The last installment will be billed on Monday and families on auto-debit will see that come out of their accounts next week.
Thank you to the parents of Orange and Purple Doors for providing lunches for our staff this week. Needless to say, it was enjoyed by all!

I am excited to see everyone on Monday! Have a great weekend with your families.
