8th Grade Parkway Career Exploration Day
The 8th-grade Parkway Career Exploration Day field trip has been rescheduled for Friday, February 11, 2022. Students who expressed interest will have their parents contacted via email with a form to give permission to participate in this trip. The form submission deadline will be TODAY, Monday, February 7, 2022. Any questions should be directed to their School Counselor.
Parkway West Open House
Parkway West is hosting an Open House on Monday, March 7th from 5-7 PM. Students & families are welcome to tour the facility and learn about programs offered. Each program is preparing an engaging classroom experience for the visitors. This is a great opportunity for students who have completed scheduling already to visit or those that may have missed Career Exploration Day. Click here for more info.
COVID-19 Symptoms/Exposure Notification Form
Please use this form to notify the District that your student has been exposed, has symptoms, or has tested positive for COVID-19. Rather than emailing various staff members, completing this form will allow us to streamline communication directly to the school nurse and be more efficient in our response. All submissions are confidential. For your convenience, this form is also available on the District website under "one clicks" and on the COVID-19 page.
The ACHD has updated its isolation/quarantine guidelines and has worked to develop this very useful app that assists in determining whether or not one should quarantine and for how long.
Kindergarten Registration for Fall 2022
Kindergarten registration for Fall 2022 is now open. All school-aged children residing within the Chartiers Valley School District, including students who attend private, parochial, placement, and charter schools, must register with the District registrar. Children turning 5-years-old on or before September 1 are eligible to attend Kindergarten in the fall. For more information, including the complete registration packet and list of required documents, visit the registration page on the District website.

From the Cafeteria
This school year our Food Service Department is experiencing some supply chain issues with numerous menu items for both breakfast and lunch. Some popular items are on backorder with no known restock date at this time. Please be aware that we are adjusting the menus when we are informed of any out of stock items and we are giving students other options to choose from during meal service. We ask for your patience during this time, we are doing the best we can with what products we are able to order. Please contact me if you have any questions and thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
Chartiers Valley School District is offering FREE breakfast and FREE lunch to every student, every school day. More information.
We are also offering an a la carte snack menu this year for students who wish to pack their lunch and buy snacks.
From the Athletic Office
Please remember that students younger than high school age must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of all District events and athletic competitions. This includes Friday night football games.
