December 7, 2022
Welcome back to VCCA's monthly newsletter focused on keeping Fellows, staff, and supporters connected. Happy December and warm greetings as we near the end of 2022.

Today's newsletter is filled with notes of gratitude, inspiration for holiday cheer, and messages from VCCA Fellows. Please note that the new year will bring our next deadline for writers, visual artists, and composers to apply for Fall 2023 residencies at Mt. San Angelo. Residency applications are due January 15.

Thanks to everyone for a successful year! Let's do it again in 2023.

We're Grateful for Meriwether Godsey
Fellows in residence at Mt. San Angelo over the Thanksgiving holiday received a holiday feast, lovingly prepared by our friends from Meriwether Godsey. We're thankful for a fantastic dining partner who shares our commitment to nourishing artists during their stays with us.

Thanks Again for a Successful #GivingTuesday
Last week, Fellows and friends helped VCCA celebrate GivingTuesday, an annual day of global giving. Thanks to the generosity of our community that day, we more-than-met a $3K matching offer and raised a total of $8,210 to support our 50th Anniversary Fellowships for Artists of Color.

Thanks, everyone, for continuing to help us build upon this important initiative to ensure our artist community better reflects the diversity of the U.S. population.
