PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Families,

This school year is literally Zooming by (boom boom cha!)! Here are some important reminders:

Roomers~Students Participating In-Person
Thank you to all Roomer Cohort A families who brought their “golden ticket” Travel Quarantine Roomer Agreement to school on Monday morning. For Roomer Cohort B students, please remember to have your child bring this completed form tomorrow, Thursday, February 25. Roomer Parents... we need your help! PLEASE complete your online Health Symptom Checker by 8:00 A.M. on the days your child(ren) participate in-person. This is a requirement by our District and County to ensure the safety of all.
On-Ramp Opportunity #1 Begins March 15
All full-time Zoomer families will receive correspondence from your child’s teacher by 3:00 P.M. today regarding On-Ramp #1 which will begin the week of March 15. Please complete the Google Form Opt-In by Monday, March 1. On Monday, March 8, ALL families (Zoomers & Roomers) will receive correspondence from your child’s teacher regarding the March 15th On Ramp #1 beginning March 15. For families who are already participating as a Roomer (in-person learning twice a week), Cohort placements will remain the same. On-Ramp #2 will begin on April 19th.

Covid Testing for On-Ramp Students
Covid testing is available for students who will be “On-Ramping” beginning the week of March 15th. ALL testing will take place at Fisher Middle School in the gym breezeway. Be sure to register before arrival if it is your child’s first COVID test. After registering once, you do not need to re-register. Please mark your calendars now! If your child is already participating as a Roomer twice a week, Covid testing dates will be shared soon. Thank you for your patience.
Conferences
Conference week is March 1-5. You are strongly encouraged to sign-up for this virtual meeting to discuss your child’s successes and areas for growth. There will be no 2:00-2:30 P.M. connection during this week due to conferences. Specialist classes will continue as usual. Report cards will go home by March 5th.

FOOD SERVICE

In order to provide to go lunch options for all students we are changing a few details of our meal program that we wanted to bring to your attention.

1) Grab-n-Go lunches will be available for all students at each campus exit gate from MTTHF 11:45-12:15 (elementary) and M-F 10:45-11:15 (middle school). The tables are marked by menu item and students can grab a breakfast snack/lunch to eat at home. These meals are complementary for all students.

2) Complementary meals are also available for drive through pick up at Fisher. The hours for drive thru have changed slightly and will be open from 11:30-1:00 daily M-F.

3) Any special dietary needs to contact Lupe Pena directly at lpena@lgusd.org

4) We will publish the menu and meal schedule weekly on Wednesdays so that you may plan ahead.
