Indian Springs School Choir TODAY |
Today, Sunday, March 27th - 3pm in the Georgian Room. The School Choir from Indian Springs, Alabama has been hailed by one reviewer as a “symbol of excellence," the Indian Springs School Concert Choir and smaller Chamber Choir delight audiences of all ages and diverse backgrounds in cities from San Antonio, Chicago, and New York City to Lucerne, Madrid, and Edinburgh.
The New York Times described the choir’s Lincoln Center debut as "a superb projection that would have done credit to any professional chorus." Led by Director of Choral Music Lee Wright, the groups sing an extraordinary range of music, including major Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 20th-century works. April 4th Lecture on Landscape Architect Frederick Law Olmsted |
Producer Michael Messner will join us on Monday, April 4th at 2pm in the Georgian Room to present and talk about his PBS documentary of noted landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, who supported the urban park movement. This documentary is a fascinating study of Olmsted as architect of Central Park, Prospect Park, Lawrenceville School and the general landscape plan for Druid Hills here in Atlanta. The new lending library, which opened last September in the lower level of the Club, has proved a great success. Members tell us that they enjoy being able to zero in on their favorite genres: fiction, nonfiction, history, biography, religion, environment, and mysteries & thrillers. Members have generously donated several hundred books, and we have had room for many of them.
Our Members now number well over 300, thus we need to keep many books in circulation. So please return your choices within two weeks.

Real Estate Sales Remain Strong |
You may have noticed recent activity as I am out and about in the community with prospective Members who are interested in the lifestyle at Peachtree Hills Place. As a result, last week, we had two resales go under contract, three closings and two listings. We now have seven homes in Peachtree Hills Place inventory and five resales available. Interest in the cottages is very good and I am excited to work with homeowners and our design team in customizing their cottage.

Members will need to pick up their own mallets and balls from The Junction when going to play croquet. We ask that all equipment be returned after playing.
