Recently, changes were made to DHS regulations related to emergency planning. Join our session to discuss these changes and how it effects your current emergency plan and processes. Ample time will be allotted for Q&A regarding the changes and regulations.

Using Sign Language to Enhance Children's Learning
Wednesday, July 13 | 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Teaching sign language to young children is a great way to introduce children to a second language and to the deaf and hearing impaired culture. Research has also shown that teaching signs for words and the alphabet can help with letter recognition and build their vocabulary. Another advantage is that sign language enhances fine motor skills. Kids think it’s fun and entertaining to sign!
