FIPPOA has a fabulous new look!

Hello Neighbor!

After almost a year in the making, we’re rolling out a fresh and innovative brand identity to represent FIPPOA and all members of our Pines community. We’re also unveiling our new website so that everyone—from Pines residents, renters and businesses, to our Pines-based cultural organizations and Pines visitors—can stay on top of what’s happening in the Pines.

What was the process?

Last spring, FIPPOA issued an RFP for rebranding FIPPOA. We received 14 strong proposals to create a new corporate identity for FIPPOA and a new website. In August 2021, the board wholeheartedly endorsed the selection of Will Kim Creative, a BIPOC and LGBTQ-owned company led by Sungtae (Will) Kim, a long-time Pines community member. FIPPOA co-chairs Tami Hausman and Chris Mai supervised the process, along with community manager Karen McCutcheon.

Why did FIPPOA rebrand?

We’re not just an organization for property owners—FIPPOA is here for the entire community. Our new brand embodies our values: honesty, fairness, common sense, participation, respect, and neighborliness in all our actions. It also demonstrates our commitment to inclusion and social equity.

What is FIPPOA’s new logo?

Our new logo is upbeat and dynamic, designed to personify the community-mindedness, diversity, and energy of the Pines and its people. Symbolically, the lowercase “i” in our logo represents how each individual adds to the greater whole. The logo also depicts the cherished elements of our natural environment: the wavy line of the water, the straight line of the beach, and the sun that is symbolized by the slightly raised “o.”

You’ll also notice our new symbol. It’s a simplified version of the logo that connotes the beach and water with a Pine tree on top. When you see it on the Wagon Rack or the Mobility Cart, you’ll instantly think of FIPPOA. Our refined primary color palette is comprised of green and white with sand-colored accents, along with a lively accent palette inspired by the LGBTQ+ flag.

What’s different about the website?

But wait, there’s more! FIPPOA now has a robust website, designed as your go-to resource including essential community information that anyone can access quickly and easily. You’ll see that we have consolidated and re-categorized information, added additional resources, and made it user-friendly for anyone seeking information about FIPPOA or the Pines.

We’re so excited to tell you more about our branding, which we’ll be officially announcing at FIPPOA’s Spring Meeting in May. In the meantime, we’ll be busy upgrading our look. Throughout this season, you’ll see FIPPOA’s logo and logomark throughout the Pines, to showcase the work we all do on behalf of the community.

We hope you enjoy the new branding and we look forward to welcoming you back for the 2022 season!

Best,

Henry
