We are in need of a Track Coordinator for the CYO season this spring. This person will be the St. Charles contact and work with the two established coordinators at St. Albert as part of the Kettering Community Track Team. Please reach out to Pat McDowell at pmcdowell912@gmail.com if you are interested in learning more or helping out.

Reminders from Mrs. Obringer:

If your child will be absent, late or leaving early from school, please make sure to notify the office. You can send me an email (office@stcharleskettering.org) or call the school office (937-434-4933).

If your child has an early dismissal, please call the office when you arrive. We will get your student out of class at that time and out to your car. If your child goes to the dentist, doctor, orthodontist or any other type of provider, please get a return to school note.

Please make sure that when you send lunch money in with your child that it is in an envelope and marked with your child’s first and last name, homeroom and lunch pin #. This helps the cafeteria when adding funds to accounts.

Calling all Mother and Sons! Join us February 10th at 7pm for the Mother Son Dance. $20 cash or check made out to St. Charles School or pay online today at: https://onecau.se/stcharlesdance

Illnesses

As we start a new school year, we expect to see an increase in illnesses as we bring groups together, and this year is no different. To help us reduce illnesses throughout the school year:

  • Please be familiar with the Daily Health Check and HEAL Documents
  • Monitor for illnesses and COVID-19 symptoms
  • Stay home when sick - see Daily Health Check and HEAL documents. If you are staying home, parents must notify the school office 937-434-4933 or office@stcharleskettering.org  by 9am. It would be helpful for school monitoring to report your child's symptoms.
  • Get vaccinated
  • Encourage good hand washing and cough hygiene (sneezes and coughs should be covered)
  • Encourage cleaning measures and proper ventilation
  • If you test positive for COVID -19, please use our reporting tool COVID Notification Form

If you have any questions, please contact the school nurse at 937-660-4266 or sullmer@stcharleskettering.org

If you would like to volunteer at school please following the instructions attached to get enrolled in SafeParish!

You must be SafeParish to volunteer in the classroom, field trips and coach a Charger Sports Team.
