Hunterdon Walk In Covid-19 Test Clinic
Opens At Noon February 3rd
 
Located at the Hunterdon Shopping Center
39 Reaville Avenue, Flemington
Hunterdon County’s Health Department, in conjunction with Vault Medical Services, is providing a walk in, no appointment necessary, free Covid-19 test clinic at the Hunterdon Shopping Center, 39 Reaville Avenue, in Flemington (the former Pier 1 store), beginning Thursday, February 3rd at 12 noon, Hunterdon County Commissioner Shaun C. Van Doren has announced.
 
Van Doren, the Board’s Health Department liaison, stated, “The public will be able to receive a free rapid antigen test or a PCR test or both at the clinic, operated by Vault Medical Services through combined funding from the State Department of Health and Hunterdon County.

Hunterdon Board Director Seeks
County Tax Rate Freeze Again In 2022
Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners Director John E. Lanza, at the Board’s February 1st meeting, called for the Board’s Budget Committee to work towards freezing the county tax rate again in 2022, for the fourth year in a row.
 
Lanza said, “Today, with costs rising all around us – higher food prices, higher gasoline prices, utilities and other costs going up, here at the county I believe we should strive to not add to the present inflation driven cost increase burden on our taxpayers.
 
Therefore, I am calling on the Board’s Budget Committee to continue the county’s conservative fiscal philosophy and work towards a 2022 budget that again freezes the county tax rate for the fourth consecutive year.”
