Share the Love

Let’s show Ogden teachers some love this Valentine season!

Teachers have created wishlists with items at various price points that they hope to incorporate in their classes with students. The lists may include books, games, equipment, educational tools, and incentives.

All wishlist items are hand picked by Ogden teachers to support and benefit our students. The items can be shipped directly to the teacher, or if you would prefer your child to bring the gift to the class on their own, you are welcome to do so.

Please consider showing your child’s teacher(s) some LOVE this February! If you discover a wishlist isn't present in the spreadsheet, please reach out directly to that teacher to inquire how you can support them.

Questions? Contact Jess Hamari or Cara Ross

This year, the OPEN Committee is selecting five books per month from notable book awards to donate to our school’s Library Resource Center (LRC) in collaboration with our school librarians. Below are February's selections, which you can also read about by clicking here.

Curriculum Enhancement Committee

The PTC’s newly formed Curriculum Enhancement Committee (“CEC”) is looking for 4 volunteers to serve on the committee for 2024-2025.

The goal of the CEC is to provide resources and support to the Ogden administration and teachers by assisting in the planning and implementation of activities complementary to the D102 curriculum. Based on input from teachers and administration, the CEC will research and gather information on supplemental educational opportunities including cost, activity details, dates available, and similar data. For approved activities, the CEC would work with Ogden teachers and staff to assist in any further planning and implementation as requested.

If you are interested in serving on this committee or would like to learn more, please reach out to Rachel Arndt or Sarah Barus.
